2017 saw us whip around the west Welsh coast (actually, it was harder than it looks) – and we are now officially back south of the Watford Gap, after a mere 11 years 'up North'.
We're so close now to completing our round-the-coast cycle; all that's left now is the minor matter of south Wales, Somerset, and then the notoriously hilly Devon, Cornwall and a bit of Dorset.
So, after originally hoping to complete the ride before we turned 40 (but that was before tricky things like children came along), can we now manage to reach our starting point, Weymouth, before we turn 50 in 2024? You'd hope so...
